‘Easter Island’ (March 1774): survey chart of Rapa Nui (Easter Island) supplied to the Board of Longitude by the astronomer William Wales on James Cook’s Resolution with Greenwich longitude and ship’s track added. In 1795 Wales was appointed the Board’s secretary.
