Frances Morgan is a Lecturer in Sound and Music Theory and Media Studies at University of Lincoln and a music, film and arts journalist with by-lines in The Wire and London Review of Books, among others. Their research focuses on histories of electronic music and recorded sound, restoration and archival practices, and creative and critical writing on music and sound. Recent papers have appeared in Organised Sound, Dancecult and Journal of Popular Television. Frances is currently the Chair of the Daphne Oram Trust.
