Studio Roso is a multidisciplinary art studio founded by Sophie Nielsen and Rolf Knudsen. Both have a varied educational background in architecture and design, and both are graduates of the Royal College of Art in London. Studio Roso’s work is influenced by an interest in the ephemeral, fleeting and ever-changing. Working intimately with materials, finishes and light, the studio aims to achieve effects and overtones which extend beyond the physical volume of a piece. It is this which excites and inspires their work.
