George Vasey is a curator, educator and writer. He was co-curator on Misbehaving Bodies: Jo Spence and Oreet Ashery, held at Wellcome Collection in 2019/20, and is currently working on an exhibition on the theme of positive emotion, opening at Wellcome Collection in 2021. He has previously held curatorial positions at Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Sunderland (2014–17) and Newcastle University (2017–18), and was co-curator of Turner Prize, Ferens Art Gallery, Hull (2017). His writing has been published in Art Monthly, ArtReview, Burlington Contemporary, Frieze and Mousse magazine.
