Lauren Ryall-Waite is the Head Curator at the Science and Industry Museum, Manchester, where she leads a team of specialist curators and archivists to research and develop the collections. Lauren was previously curator at Thackray Museum of Medicine, Leeds, and has a background in medical history collections and archaeology. She is currently writing up her PhD with the Wellcome Surgery & Emotion project, exploring the objectification of human remains through dissection and emotional perspectives on displaying the anatomised body
