Nela is passionate about interdisciplinary approaches to science, specifically understanding the interactions between science and politics and developments in scientific education. Her current research interests lie in women’s history, science communication, history of scientific organizations, and, most recently, both the politics and history of vaccination. Nela completed her MA in History of Science at the University of Leeds in 2022, followed by an MSc in International Politics at Trinity College Dublin in 2023. In the future she intends to embark on a PhD research project in History of Science.
