Boards
The Science Museum Group Journal would not be possible without the generous contributions of insight, ideas and editorial feedback from our boards. The editorial board lends their expertise to advise on each issue and forms an integral part of our team by way of their expertise on museum practice and their broad academic scope. The editorial board spans disciplines including the history of early modern medicine, racial equity research in the museums field, photographic history and archival practices, historical connections between science and religious practices, twentieth-century film history and more.
Our international advisory board consists also of experts in the field of museums and science teaching, who help us round out our wide-ranging global scope. They are leading authorities in the field of digital communication, history of science and museum practice and their fields of interest range from the mechanisms by which science is effectively communicated to the public, to contemporary museological innovations, to educational policy around teaching science to students.
