Alexandra Rose

Curator of Earth Sciences, Science Museum

Alexandra Rose is Curator of Earth Sciences at the Science Museum, London. She was lead curator of Science City 1550–1800: The Linbury Gallery (opened 2019) and co-editor of the accompanying book Science City: Craft, Commerce and Curiosity in London, 1550–1800. Her other projects at the Science Museum have included Unlocking Lovelock: Scientist, Inventor, Maverick (2014) and Atmosphere: Exploring Climate Science (2010). She is a part-time PhD student at the University of Leeds, studying the history of seismology in Britain, 1870s–1930s
