Brenda Malone, historian and museum professional, has worked for the National Museum of Ireland since 2000, where she has curated Military History, Irish Folklife and Contemporary History collections. Particular areas of interest include the development of the idea of ‘nation’, and how this is collected and portrayed in National Museums.
