Colin Jones

Colin Jones is Emeritus Professor of Cultural History at Queen Mary, University of London, with research interests in eighteenth-century France, particularly the French Revolution and medical history. He has been Visiting Professor in the History Department at the University of Chicago since 2017. He has authored or edited over 20 books, including The Fall of Robespierre: 24 Hours in Revolutionary Paris (Oxford University Press, 2021) and The Shortest History of France (2024)
