Costanza Caraffa is Head of Photothek at Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Max Planck Institute. She has edited several volumes and was coordinator of the collaborative project Photo-Objects. In 2009 she launched the Florence Declaration for the preservation of analogue photo archives. Her focus is on the intertwinings of photographic, archival, scholarly and artistic practices
