Dr Alison Hess

Alison Hess is a Lecturer in Museum and Gallery Studies at the University of Westminster. Alison joined the university after nearly ten years working in collections and research at the Science Museum Group. Her research focuses on museum collections and storage, and she is co-editor of the book Exploring Emotion, Care and Enthusiasm in “Unloved” Museum Collections (Woodham, A, Smith, R and Hess, A, Arc Humanities Press, 2020)
