Dr Emily Rees Koerner is Visiting Fellow at the University of Leeds. She worked as the research and engagement assistant for the University of Leeds/AHRC outreach and engagement project ‘Electrifying Women: Understanding the Long History of Women in Engineering’. She holds a PhD on the domestication of the television set in Britain from the University of Nottingham. Her research interests include gender and technology, the history of women in engineering, and the history of domestic space
