Kylea Little is Keeper of History at Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, based at Discovery Museum in Newcastle. As a participatory practitioner Kylea is committed to working with communities to diversify narratives and collections. Kylea is lead curator of the social history, science and industry, maritime and costume and textile collections at TWAM. She led the development of Destination Tyneside, the first permanent gallery in the country dedicated to immigration and is currently working on decolonising the history collections and narratives at TWAM. She sits on the Museums Associations Ethics Committee and the steering group of the Migration Museum Network
