Matt Hick

Head of Volunteering at Science Museum Group, Chair of the Heritage Volunteering Group

Matt Hick is Head of Volunteering at Science Museum Group (SMG) and founder and Chair of the Heritage Volunteering Group (HVG). He has worked in Volunteer Management for 17 years. As Volunteer Coordinator, Matt transformed volunteering at the National Railway Museum before taking on his current role, where he’s responsible for the strategic development of volunteering across SMG. Matt is a former Chair of York CVS, current Governor for Sphere Federation and an avid Parkrunner and Parkrun volunteer
