Michal Nanoru (@michalnanoru) is a Czech writer and editor currently residing in London. His curatorial projects include Only the Good Ones: The Snapshot Aesthetic Revisited, a survey of the influence of snapshot strategies on artists’ working with photography, at Galerie Rudolfinum, Prague, and Taryn Simon: A Soldier is Taught to Bayonet the Enemy and not Some Undefined Abstraction at the Albertinum in Dresden. Nanoru has published several books on visual culture, including We Saw Up a Cutting Board, an oral and visual history of Czech skateboarding before 1990, and has contributed to others, most recently an essay in the German painter Katharina Grosse’s Wunderbild
