Miquel Carandell Baruzzi is Serra Húnter history of medicine lecturer at Institut d'Història de la Ciència of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He has been working as curator at the Natural Science Museum of Granollers and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Museums and Industry: Long Histories of Collaboration project, and has published several books on topics such as the history of science in Barcelona, taxidermy and the history of the Barcelona Zoo
