Rebekah Higgitt

Principal Curator of Science

Rebekah Higgitt is Principal Curator of Science at National Museums Scotland. She undertook her PhD at Imperial College London and postdoctoral research at the University of Edinburgh before becoming Curator of History of Science at Royal Museums Greenwich (2008–2013) and senior lecturer at the University of Kent (2013–2020). She was Co-Investigator on the Observatory Sites and Networks Since 1780 AHRC Network Grant, Principal Investigator on the Leverhulme Trust-funded Metropolitan Science project (in partnership with the Science Museum) and is currently Principal Investigator on the Tools of Knowledge project (AHRC)
