Samantha M Thompson

Curator of Astronomy and Space Sciences

Samantha Thompson is a curator at the Smithsonian Institution National Air and Space Museum where she is responsible for the astronomy and space sciences collection. She has previously held roles at the American Institute of Physics, Lowell Observatory, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. She holds degrees in physics and astronomy, and higher degrees in the history of science with an MSc from Imperial College London and PhD from Arizona State University
